How To Sell Without Putting Your Reader Off

📢 A tip on copywriting.

Put your value proposition FIRST.

What are you offering to the reader that will add value to their life or improve it?

Most of us post a photo of our product or service, slap a price tag and contact details and walk away thinking our day is done.

Don’t put off your reader before they’ve even had a chance to understand you.

Ask yourself, what problem are you solving for your potential customer?

Remember you’ve already created a buyer persona, USE IT to answer that!.

Example.

Own a cleaning service company?

DON’T JUST TELL people you offer cleaning services.
Rather….
Tell them WHAT EXACTLY YOU’VE DONE or WHAT EXACTLY YOU CAN DO.

Eg. Post a photo with a caption——- 4m x 6m pool, full cleaning, pump out and refill. Cleaning time: 2Hrs max.

As opposed to ———- Joe Joe cleaning services, we offer house cleaning, pool cleaning, rubbish collection.

Why am I saying this?

People gravitate more toward personalised and detailed information.

Keep it short and specific.

It’s better to have 3 likes and 2 comments on a short specific pool cleaning post than to have 100 likes and 25 comments on a general cleaning service post.

What do I mean?
Well, those two comments on the specific pool cleaning post are DIRECTLY interested in that particular service and your chance of converting that in to sales is HIGHER than filtering through the 25 comments on your general cleaning service post trying to figure out your leads.

Next, include a CTA (Call To Action) —– Prompt your readers to take the next step.
Eg. Call +123 456 789 to book your pool inspection and cleaning.

So basically, your post should be like
*PHOTO*
Caption: 4m x 6m pool cleaned, pump out and refill done. Cleaning time 2Hrs.
Call +123 456 789 to book your pool inspection and cleaning.

Remember, you’re competing with millions of advertisers online for a reader’s blue screen attention, give it your best shot!
